How we look after your account and your members' data

Plain-English answers to what GroupCRM can see, what it stores, and how you stay in control.

Your Facebook login stays in your browser

  • ✓ GroupCRM never asks for, sees or stores your Facebook password.
  • ✓ The Chrome extension works inside the Facebook session you are already logged into, the same way you would click Approve yourself.
  • ✓ You can pause automation, or remove the extension, at any time.

What we store

  • ✓ For each join request in a group you enable: name, profile link, membership answers, any email or phone in those answers, and the profile signals Facebook shows admins (such as account age and mutual friends).
  • ✓ Your rules, message templates, integration settings and an activity log of what GroupCRM did.
  • ✓ We do not read your private messages, your news feed or groups you have not enabled.

How it is protected

  • ✓ All traffic between the extension, the dashboard and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • ✓ API keys and tokens for your integrations (Mailchimp, HubSpot and others) are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
  • ✓ Webhooks are signed so your systems can verify every request came from GroupCRM.
  • ✓ Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Your data, your call

  • ✓ Export your members to CSV at any time.
  • ✓ Request a full data export or account deletion from Settings → Notifications & data.
  • ✓ Members you capture are your contacts. We never sell data or use it to market to them.

Account safety on Facebook

  • ✓ Actions are spaced out with randomised gaps and capped per hour and per day, with limits you control.
  • ✓ Messages are capped at 30 a day by default and spaced minutes apart.
  • ✓ GroupCRM pauses itself if Facebook shows a security check, logs you out or rate-limits you.
